After a comprehensive makeover that lasted 18 months, the club which is located next to the Lower Seletar Reservoir re-opened in April and since then it has been earning great praise from both members and visitors who have played here. It is not only the new layout that has attracted praise, but the refurbishment has placed great emphasis on the environment and long-term sustainability.
The bunkers have been redesigned, which are equipped to eliminate the common maintenance problems, the course creates many strategic options on how to approach each hole.
Seletar Country Club is a haven of tranquility and peace set right in the heart of the countryside (in the north of Singapore). It is strategically located on a hill with rolling acres of lush greenery, overlooking the Lower Seletar Reservoir and the Johor Straits. The course architect Chris Pitman created a challenging experience of playing. In 2000, the well-manicured was renoavetd, and touch ups made in 2004. Seletar has always been among Southeast Asia's most unique course designs. The 6,364 meter long track brings excitement to those who love to challenge trying to to make par on this course while allowing golfers plenty of space to enjoy their golf.
